Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or electronic payments.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
• Count money in cash drawers at shift start and ensure adequate change.
• Greet customers entering store and maintain clean checkout area.
• Establish or identify prices and calculate totals.
• Process merchandise returns and exchanges.
• Record all sales and prepare shift-checkout reports.
• Observe shift hours and follow company policy.
