Job summary

The Café Associate at Legends Global is responsible for delivering a world-class guest experience in a fast-paced Well by Durst café setting in New York City. You will prepare and serve food and beverages, handle POS transactions, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Ideal candidates bring high-volume hospitality experience, strong guest service skills, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and event days. The role offers $18/hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous café, restaurant, hospitality, or guest service experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume hospitality, entertainment, stadium, or restaurant environments preferred.
• Food Handler certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and engage guests professionally.
• Prepare, package, and serve food and beverages per recipes and standards.
• Process guest orders and operate POS systems, handling cash and cards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of café stations and seating areas.
• Restock supplies to maintain operational readiness.
• Support opening, closing, and event-based procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and safety policies.
• Monitor product quality and presentation during service.
• Collaborate with culinary, stewarding, operations, and leadership teams.
• Respond to guest requests and handle service recovery efficiently.
• Assist with inventory and waste minimization.
