Job summary

Island Hospitality welcomes a friendly Bartender to greet guests, learn preferences, answer questions, and prepare beverages and food in a dynamic hotel setting. You will engage guests with warmth while delivering high-quality service and menu recommendations.

Position requires attentiveness, teamwork, and adherence to health codes and safety policies. Flexible scheduling may be involved to meet occupancy needs.

Qualifications

• Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement.
• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
• Ability to work well in stressful situations.
• Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and learn their preferences, answer questions, and recommend menu items.
• Prepare and serve beverages and food, and take beverage orders.
• Receive orders and coordinate with kitchen as needed.
• Clean and sanitize service areas after each shift.
• Collect payments and process transactions according to policy.
• Validate IDs and monitor alcohol service to ensure safety and compliance.
