Job summary

Hilton Downtown Richmond is seeking a part-time Hotel Barista (Graduate) to provide exceptional beverages and guest service at our Richmond, VA location. The role focuses on preparing coffee and tea drinks, engaging guests warmly, and maintaining cleanliness and accuracy across orders.

The position requires flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with casual opportunities to grow within the hotel’s hospitality team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and stand for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Greet and interact with guests in a courteous and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
• Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring consistent product quality.
• Manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
• Handle cash and electronic payments accurately and responsibly.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and reporting shortages.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
