Job summary

RaceTrac is hiring a Store Associate to join our team. You will help keep the store clean, stocked, and running smoothly while delivering a friendly guest experience at the register or self-checkout.

We offer flexible scheduling, including nights and weekends, plus hands-on training and opportunities for growth within the company. Prior experience is a plus, and physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment is a plus.
• Team player who takes the initiative and enjoys working with people.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks like bending and standing.
• May be required to obtain and maintain food handler or alcohol server permits, depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and teammates with a smile and respond promptly to directions.
• Assist at register or self-checkout with friendly service and efficiency.
• Restock shelves and ensure cleanliness and safety in food areas.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize backrooms as needed.
• Provide excellent guest service and handle transactions accurately.
