Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is hiring a Server to provide friendly, efficient service in a family-friendly setting. You will follow company policies and performance standards while ensuring a welcoming guest experience and teamwork with the management staff.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, serving food, handling payments, and maintaining cleanliness. The role requires reliability, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Basic sanitation, safety, and customer service skills taught through in-house training.
• Trustworthy with cash handling and cash register operation.
• Clear communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Report to work well-groomed in clean uniform and maintain personal hygiene.
• Greet guests in a kind, courteous and respectful manner.
• Handle cash, credit cards, gift cards and payments accurately.
• Take verbal drink and meal orders according to guest preference.
• Serve high quality food and ensure orders are complete and attractive.
• Monitor food temperatures to reduce food-borne illness risks.
• Maintain cleanliness of work station and pantry.
• Perform side work during downtime (restocking condiments, cleaning work areas).
• Execute service cycle and team responsibilities at all times.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu to upsell to guests.
• Write guest checks and operate POS per policy.
• Anticipate and correct system issues to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Communicate with managers about product/service deficiencies or safety problems.
