Job summary

Bandana's BBQ in Mount Vernon, IL is seeking team members to support daily guest service in a fast-paced setting. You will take orders, assist with dining experiences, maintain cleanliness, and follow our mission to treat every guest as a home guest with hospitality and accuracy.

Ideal candidates are friendly, able to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and use a computer to input orders. Training is provided to ensure consistency with our motto, perfection, fast, every time.

Qualifications

• Delivers the mission statement and motto to guests 100% of the time.
• Ability to speak, read and write and understand English for guests.
• Ability to use computer system to input order information.
• Must be guest sensitive with proper timing for drinks, food and dessert.
• Must stand and move in a fast-paced environment for up to 6 hours.
• Must lift up to 25 pounds and have good balance.
• Ability to wipe tabletops, wipe booth seats and clean work areas.
• Transport plates and glasses to dining room and kitchen up to 40 times per shift.
• Follows proper uniform standards.

Responsibilities

• Delivers the mission statement and motto to each guest 100% of the time.
• Ability to speak, read and write and understand the primary language of the work location for guests.
• Ability to use computer system to input order information.
• Must be guest sensitive and possess a sense of timing to serve different elements of dining experience at proper time.
• Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to six hours.
• Must have good sense of balance, be able to bend, kneel, and lift bus-tubs and trays up to 25 pounds.
• Wipe down tabletops, table legs, pickup debris, and wipe booth seats.
• Transport plates, glasses, and baskets to and from dining room and kitchen about 40 times per shift.
• Follow uniform standards.
