Job summary

Copper River Grill is seeking a friendly Server to greet guests and provide attentive service in a lively dining room. You will take orders, deliver food and beverages, and contribute to a welcoming guest experience.

In this role you will handle POS transactions, upsell cocktails, wines, and desserts, maintain table cleanliness, and collaborate with a professional team to ensure memorable hospitality experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred, especially in casual or fine dining.
• Familiarity with Aloha or Micros POS is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and professional demeanor.
• Strong time management to handle multiple tables.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions.
• Experience with wine knowledge, spirits, cocktail service, and upselling is desirable.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests warmly and presenting menus with enthusiasm, offering recommendations.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Focus, Aloha or Micros.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Upsell menu items like cocktails, wines, or desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and sales.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are always followed.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
