Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking a Sales Teammate in Springfield, MO to help create the most enjoyable shopping experience for Guests. You will perform sales and merchandising tasks, cashiering, and store operations alongside a friendly team.

This role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and a flexible schedule, including weekends. No prior experience is required, and training is provided to ensure excellent Guest interactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Answer questions about store and its merchandise.
• Recommend and help locate merchandise based on Guest needs.
• Anticipate and fulfill Guest needs by suggesting additional items and creating a wardrobe experience.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and sales education, sharing that knowledge with the team.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, policies, payments, exchanges, and security practices.
• Achieve personal sales-per-hour, average sales, and net sales goals set by Store Management.
• Checkout and bag purchases; prepare merchandise for alterations.
• Know exchange/return procedures and turn them into learning opportunities.
• Fill out and use the Sales Presentation Guide daily to accomplish goals.
• Meet or above performance standards in Buckle business builders and guest loyalty.
• Place Special Orders or call other stores to find desired merchandise.
• Build and maintain customer relationships to develop a client-based business.
• Develop knowledge of Buckle’s customer service expectations to meet Guest needs.
• Perform leadership actions and maintain high standards, even when the Manager is not present.
