Job summary

Denny’s is seeking a Service Assistant to help maintain a clean, inviting dining area and assist with front and back of house duties. You’ll keep tables, dishware, and stock areas organized and safe while providing prompt, courteous guest service.

Reporting to the General Manager and Restaurant Manager, you will work in a team, handle physical tasks, and follow Denny’s Guiding Principles to ensure a positive guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a team environment and provide courteous guest service.
• Strong guest interaction and communication skills.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Able to learn basic tasks and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Busses, cleans, and resets tables.
• Checks restrooms and hand washing stations every half hour for cleanliness and supplies.
• Maintains exterior curb appeal and keeps restaurant exterior and parking lot free of debris.
• Maintains restaurant interior to be clean, safe, and inviting for guests and employees.
• Assists with stocking deliveries; rotates perishable stock in accordance with standards.
• Performs sidework and other deep cleaning duties as assigned.
• Adheres to Brand Standards and internal policies and procedures.
• Provides prompt and courteous service and is cordial to all team members and guests.
