Job summary

Denny’s is seeking a Service Assistant to maintain the restaurant’s interior and exterior, keeping areas clean and ready for guests. You’ll support dining room operations, stock service areas, and ensure timely, courteous guest service.

Responsibilities include cleaning, stocking, and assisting with side work and deep cleans, with adherence to brand standards. Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

• Meets Denny’s uniform and grooming standards and maintains them throughout the shift
• Must be able to pass all required tests and training requirements
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends
• Possesses excellent guest service skills
• Able to learn basic tasks and follow instructions

Responsibilities

• Maintain the restaurant’s interior and exterior, keeping areas clean and organized
• Keep dining room tables cleaned and sanitized
• Maintain adequate supplies of dishes, utensils, glassware, and ice
• Ensure front and back of the house are clean, organized, and stocked
• Address guest requests promptly and notify supervisor of issues
• Assist with stocking deliveries and rotating perishable stock
• Perform side work and other deep cleaning duties as assigned
• Adhere to Denny’s Brand Standards and internal policies
