The Tides by the Sea is seeking a courteous Hotel Houseman and Laundry Attendant in Seaside, OR. The role involves laundry operations, linen management, and occasional guest room cleaning to ensure guest satisfaction at our seaside property.

Responsibilities include bed linen changes, trash removal, operating washers/dryers, and maintaining supplies. A friendly, professional demeanor and basic computer use are required. Compensation ranges with experience; tips are included.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service and/or laundry experience in hospitality.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pleasant, hospitable demeanor to engage with guests.
• Experience with computers, email, and phone apps.
• Ability to communicate in English, written and spoken.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Strip and change bed linens and make beds.
• Empty trash throughout rooms.
• Operate washers and dryers per hotel standards.
• Monitor laundry supplies and equipment.
• Receive soiled linens and inspect for damage.
• Fold and store clean linens and report damages.
• Deliver items to guest rooms on request.
• Follow cleaning procedures and use cleaning agents properly.
• Maintain attendance and be available on a regular basis.
• Adhere to dress code and present a neat appearance.
