Job summary

Holiday Inn Express, Green Mnt is seeking an energetic maintenance engineer to ensure every guest has an excellent experience at our property. You will support daily maintenance and preventive programs to safeguard health and safety while engaging with guests and staff.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly, thrives in a team, and enjoys meeting new people. The role requires 2–4 years in maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary.
• 2-4 years of experience in maintenance is required.
• Must have a driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts.
• Collaborate with other technicians who will assist with maintenance tasks.
• Follow all engineering safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain hotel equipment and preventative maintenance plans.
• Use a wide range of tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, indicators, edge finders, drills, wrenches, and additional equipment.
