Bob Evans Restaurants is hiring for a Host/Cashier role in our family dining environment. The position offers up to $15.00 per hour, depending on concept experience, with early close shifts and no late nights.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years related experience
• Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Responsibilities

• Greet guest in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner and escort guests to tables
• Monitors guests’ needs and the flow of the restaurant and seats guests accordingly
• Delivers menus and kid packs when seating guests
• Performs restroom checks, answers phone, keeps lobby, bakery and retail areas clean
• Practices safe food and beverage handling
• Communicates with guests and manages crowds while they wait for seating or carryout
• Handles cash and credit transactions; accounts for all receivables
• Assist in marketing, promotional services and situational selling
• Clears, sanitizes, and sets tables as needed
• Must have dependability and exceptional teamwork skills
