Job summary

Miguel's Jr. is seeking a friendly Cashier to deliver excellent guest service, process orders with accuracy, and manage payments at the front counter. You may support drive-thru and take-out orders, ensuring quick, accurate transactions and a clean, welcoming dining area.

Applicants should have basic POS skills, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset. Evening/weekend availability is often required, with a comprehensive benefits package and team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Basic computer and POS system proficiency.
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and follow instructions.
• Food Handler Certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and deliver prompt, friendly service.
• Enter orders into the POS system accurately.
• Process cash and card transactions per procedures.
• Maintain clean, stocked front counter area and dining spaces.
• Prepare and maintain beverage stations and serve beverages as needed.
• Assist with drive-thru operations when required.
• Respond to guest questions and escalate issues as needed.
• Follow HACCP and food safety procedures daily.
• Demonstrate teamwork and pride in representing the brand.
