Job summary

The Cake Bake Shop Admin Llc in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Cashier/Cake Cutter to deliver exceptional guest service, accurately prepare cake and dessert orders, and process guest transactions. Located in Broad Ripple, this role supports a fast-paced restaurant environment.

You will greet guests, cut and plate desserts, handle POS transactions, and maintain clean, welcoming stations while adhering to safety standards. Previous restaurant or retail experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; strong attention to detail.
• Previous restaurant, retail, cashier, or food-service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide knowledgeable, friendly service.
• Accurately cut, portion, plate, package, and present cakes and desserts according to company standards.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately through the POS system.
• Assist guests with menu questions and product selections.
• Maintain stocked, clean, organized, and visually appealing cake and cashier stations.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
• Monitor product quality and communicate low inventory or product needs to management.
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities.
• Work collaboratively with team members to provide a seamless guest experience.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, uniform, and appearance standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on the needs of the business.
