The Cake Bake Shop in Broad Ripple, Indianapolis, is seeking a friendly Cashier/Cake Cutter to deliver exceptional guest service and accurately handle cake orders and transactions. Qualifications

• Excellent guest service and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely perform the physical requirements of the position.
• Previous restaurant, retail, cashier, or food-service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Greet guests warmly and provide knowledgeable, friendly service.
• Accurately cut, portion, plate, package, and present cakes and desserts according to company standards.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately through the POS system.
• Assist guests with menu questions and product selections.
• Maintain stocked, clean, organized, and visually appealing cake and cashier stations.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
• Monitor product quality and communicate low inventory or product needs to management.
• Complete opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities.
• Work collaboratively with team members to provide a seamless guest experience.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, uniform, and appearance standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on the needs of the business.
