Job summary

ARK is seeking a reliable laundry attendant to join our hotel team in Minnesota. You will wash, iron, press and fold linens while talking with guests to make them feel at ease and ensure a clean, sanitary environment.

The ideal candidate lifts 20+ pounds regularly, has knowledge of commercial laundry products, and works well on a team. A High School diploma or GED is preferred, with 1+ year experience in laundry, housekeeping or a similar role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 20 or more pounds regularly.
• Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products.
• Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
• 1+ years as laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar position.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Check that all cleaning supplies are stocked and notify the general manager if any are running low.
• Look at all of your linens and treat any stains that you find.
• Inspect laundry equipment visually and report any maintenance issues to the building management.
• Load all laundry into the washer and add specified cleaning agents according to directions.
• Take out the clothes and linens after washing and dry them following the manufacturer's recommendations.
