Job summary

Panera Bread in New York is seeking a Restaurant Team Member to welcome guests and help deliver great food and hospitality in a fast-paced bakery-cafe environment.

You will greet guests with warmth, assemble salads, soups, and sandwiches, and support production, service, and cashier duties. Must be 16+, able to lift 25 lbs, and adapt to a busy pace with flexibility for evenings and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Food safety training/food handler requirements as required by law.
• Food service experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm.
• Operate in production, prep, service, cashier, expo, drive-thru, or barista areas.
• Assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with care and speed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and inviting dining area following safety protocols.
• Assist with stocking and setting up for the next shift.
