Job summary

The Little Nell in Aspen is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to maintain high cleanliness levels in guest rooms and public areas while training and managing staff. This role reports to the Director of Housekeeping.

Responsibilities include coordinating events, occupancy and daily focus, inspecting spaces, and ensuring timely completion of duties. Fluent English required; Spanish helpful. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of management experience preferred.
• 5 years of housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help train and manage housekeeping staff.
• Brief housekeeping staff on events, occupancy of the day, and the cleaning focus of the day.
• Provide housekeeping staff with necessary tools to complete cleaning assignments.
• Monitor the speed of housekeeping staff to ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner.
• Make housekeeping boards with the cleaning focus of the day.
• Inspect rooms and public areas for overall cleanliness.
• Maintain constant communication with front desk about early arrivals, late departures, and room requests.
• Stay abreast on occupancy of the day, departure and arrivals, event(s) of the day, VIP rooms, special requests, and guest reviews.
• Assist in cleaning rooms and public areas as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
