Job summary

RaceTrac is hiring a Store Associate to create an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced retail setting. You’ll help keep the store clean, stocked, and running smoothly while providing friendly service at the register or self-checkout.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Fast-paced guest-focused environment experience is a plus.
• Team player who takes initiative and enjoys working with people.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• May be required to obtain food handler or alcohol server permits depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and teammates with a smile, responding promptly and courteously.
• Respond promptly and respectfully to management directions, and be flexible to work in all areas of the store.
• Prepares, handles, and serves food in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintains a clean and organized food service area and adheres to food safety regulations.
• Operates the cash register efficiently and accurately, handling cash and card payments.
