Job summary

Meredith Lodging in Lincoln City, OR is seeking a Guest Services Agent to welcome guests and coordinate reservations from inquiry through checkout. You will build genuine connections, assist with questions and special requests, and collaborate with property management and service teams to ensure seamless stays.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service in a hospitality-focused environment with schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; associates degree preferred.
• 2 years experience in Hotels, Vacation Rentals, Sales or Customer Service.
• 2 years sales and/or reservations teams experience.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays availability.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Experience in rental management or hospitality preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools.

Responsibilities

• Make reservations for vacation rentals via phone and email.
• Confirm online bookings with guests and be familiar with all properties on client’s website.
• Process cancellations and alterations following company policies.
• Provide information regarding vacation rental homes and availability by phone, email, and in person.
• Assist guests with questions and special requests to ensure a positive experience.
• Coordinate with third-party service providers from ordering to completion.
• Enter data accurately into internal systems and maintain account integrity.
• Collect funds for rent, tax, fees, etc.
• Greet office visitors and support other locations within the region.
• Manage reservations from multiple channels, including OTAs like Airbnb and Vrbo.
