Job summary

RaceTrac is hiring a Store Associate in Baton Rouge, LA. You will help keep the store clean, stocked, and running smoothly while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

The role offers flexible scheduling (nights/weekends/holidays) and opportunities to learn and grow within the company. Training is provided in a fast-paced, team-driven environment with a focus on guest service and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks like bending and standing.
• May be required to obtain and maintain food handler or alcohol server permits, depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and teammates with a smile, responding promptly and courteously.
• Respond promptly to management directions and be flexible to work in all store areas.
• Prepare, handle, and serve food safely and maintain a clean service area.
• Clean all areas of the store and follow safety procedures with chemicals.
• Ensure shelves are stocked and store backrooms are organized.
• Operate the cash register accurately and provide great guest service.
