Job summary

Bern’s Steak House seeks a customer care representative to help curate memorable dining experiences by handling high volumes of phone inquiries and reservations through OpenTable. You will coordinate guest requests with various departments and ensure accuracy and timely service in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have prior customer service or fine dining experience, strong organization, and the ability to multitask under pressure.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
• Previous experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality preferred.
• Must work efficiently both independently and in a team setting.
• Ability to balance timeliness and accuracy under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Must possess excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Handle high volume of inbound and outbound calls in an expedient and professional manner.
• Input accurate reservations and special requests into OpenTable and digital reservation system.
• Answer customer inquiries regarding history, policies, procedures, site navigation, operations.
• Communicate messages and special requests to management in a precise and clear way.
• Help to resolve customer dissatisfaction and technical problems.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall operations and enhance the guest experience.
• Provide administrative, general office and clerical services as requested.
