Job summary

RaceTrac in Florida is seeking a Store Associate to join a fast-paced, guest-focused team. You will help keep the store clean, stocked, and running smoothly while delivering exceptional guest service at the register or self-checkout.

The role offers part-time flexibility or a full-time career path, with opportunities for hands-on training and advancement within the company. A positive, team-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment is a plus.
• A team player who takes the initiative and enjoys working with people.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks like bending and standing.
• May be required to obtain and maintain food handler or alcohol server permits, depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and teammates with a smile, responding promptly and courteously to both.
• Respond promptly and respectfully to management directions, and be flexible and capable of working in all areas of the store, including but not limited to food service, store cleaning, cash wrap, and stocking shelves/coolers.
• Prepares, handles, and serves food in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintains a clean and organized food service area, ensures proper storage and labeling of ingredients, and adheres to all food safety regulations to deliver a great guest experience.
• Willing and able to clean all areas of the store, including breaking down food equipment and following established cleaning procedures.
• Ensures adherence to safety protocols when handling chemicals.
• Ensure shelves are fully stocked, and backrooms and coolers are clean, well-organized, and maintained.
• Operates the cash register efficiently and accurately, processes transactions, handles cash and card payments, and provides excellent guest service.
