Job summary

Middlebury College at Rikert Outdoor Center is seeking a full-time, seasonal operations lead for ski-related services. You will manage guest experiences, retail, tickets, and the Snow School, ensuring smooth daily operations and strong service standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating staff, training, and maintaining RFID and POS systems, while focusing on customer satisfaction and operational consistency during peak periods from September through March.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required / college degree preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Experience leading or supervising a team is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS and RFID systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage in-season Rikert operations: guest services, retail, and systems.
• Manage ticketing, retail staff, Snow School; scheduling and training.
• Organize training and maintenance of RFID & POS systems for staff and guests.
• Manage advance reservations and walk-up guest experiences and product lifecycle.
