Job summary

Middlebury Snowbowl at Rikert Outdoor Center seeks a full-time seasonal operations coordinator to manage guest services, retail, ticketing, Snow School, and RFID/POS systems, ensuring smooth product lifecycles and outstanding guest experiences.

The position requires leadership, excellent communication, and a passion for Nordic skiing; 40 hours per week during peak season (Sept–Mar) at a starting rate of $25.20 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Criminal Background Check required.
• Strong customer service mindset and positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills in a fast-paced team.
• Technical skills for Nordic ski equipment servicing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and manages in-season Rikert operations: guest services, retail, and system maintenance staff.
• Manages ticketing, retail staff, Snow School; scheduling and training.
• Organizes training and maintenance of RFID and POS systems for Rikert employees and guests.
• Manages advance reservations and walk-up guest experiences and their product lifecycle.
• Conducts daily cash-up processes.
• Focuses on customer satisfaction, efficiency, and operational consistency; serves as primary guest feedback contact.
• Assists Manager in cross-functional collaboration with ticketing, retail, passes, rentals, events, and Snow School.
• Collaborates with Rikert Manager, Trail and Surface Operations Lead, and Snow Bowl Product and Guest Experience manager.
• Experience setting up and utilizing POS systems.
