Job summary

Denny's is seeking a Service Assistant to help maintain a clean and inviting restaurant environment. You will keep both interior and exterior areas tidy, ensure dining tables are sanitized, and maintain supplies for smooth guest service throughout shifts.

You will support front and back of house operations, assist with stock rotation, and respond to guest requests with courtesy while adhering to brand standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and walk for 4–8 hours.
• Must be able to work inside and outside.
• Must be able to tolerate extreme temperature changes in kitchen and freezer areas.
• Adheres to brand standards and internal policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain restaurant interior and exterior cleanliness and organization.
• Keep dining room tables cleaned and sanitized.
• Ensure adequate supply of dishes, glassware, utensils, and ice.
• Assist with stocking deliveries and perishable stock rotation.
• Provide prompt and courteous service to guests and team members.
• Address complaints and requests promptly and notify supervisor of issues.
