Job summary

Denny's in the United States seeks a Service Assistant to help maintain interior and exterior areas, keep dining rooms clean and sanitized, and ensure supplies are stocked for timely guest service.

You will support front of house and back of house operations, follow Denny’s brand standards, respond to guest requests, and participate in side work and deep cleaning as assigned in a fast-paced diner.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a team environment.
• Meets Denny’s uniform and grooming standards and maintains them throughout the shift.
• Must be able to pass all required tests and training requirements.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Possesses excellent guest service skills.
• Able to learn basic tasks and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dining room tables, sanitize and reset them promptly.
• Keep front and back of the house clean, organized and stocked.
• Assist with stocking deliveries; rotates perishable stock as needed.
• Provide prompt and courteous service and attend to guest requests.
• Support other duties and deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
