Job summary

The Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village is seeking a part-time server to greet guests, take orders, and ensure a superior dining experience. You will present specials, recommend menu items, and coordinate with the kitchen to serve food promptly.

Ideal candidates are customer-service driven with excellent verbal and written communication, able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and capable of lifting up to 25 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented, with strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Flexible to work varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly upon taking a seat in the restaurant.
• Share specials or menu recommendations with guests.
• Take drink and food orders efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect food for accuracy and presentation prior to delivery.
• Maintain a clean table and assist with refills or guest requests.
• Complete side station work and keep the environment clean and safe.
