Job summary

IHOP is seeking personable servers to create a welcoming guest experience in a fast-paced family restaurant. You will greet guests, take and deliver orders, and drive sales through hospitality and menu knowledge.

Ideal candidates are energetic, reliable, and able to multitask while maintaining a high level of service. Training is provided, weekend availability is preferred, and bilingual English/Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Prior serving or hospitality experience preferred, but personality, reliability, and work ethic matter most.
• Strong communication and guest engagement skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet, seat, and serve guests in a friendly, attentive, and professional manner.
• Guide guests through menu selections and provide knowledgeable recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales through suggestive selling and add-ons.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders using restaurant systems and procedures.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation and service standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve issues when possible.
