Job summary

Big City Wings is seeking a friendly server to welcome guests, take and deliver orders, and ensure a positive dining experience. You will manage payments, maintain cleanliness, and support teammates as needed.

Training will cover the menu and POS systems; must be 18+ with valid Food Handler and TABC certifications. Ideal candidates have strong communication, hygiene, and teamwork skills, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information clearly to customers and team members.
• Ability to add/subtract numbers and handle cash.
• Ability to operate a POS system.
• Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
• Food Handler Certification required.
• TABC Certification required.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests.
• Make guests feel comfortable and let them know you will personally take care of them.
• Answer questions about food, beverages and services.
• Take orders and enter into POS system.
• Deliver orders to guests promptly.
• Prepare final bill and process payment.
• Perform side work at start and end of shift.
• Monitor dining experience for guest satisfaction.
• Address guest feedback to managers.
• Assist fellow servers as needed.
• Attend all scheduled team meetings.
