Job summary

SPiN in Washington, DC is seeking a friendly server with a hands-on approach to deliver outstanding guest service. You will assist guests with menu selections, answer questions, and transmit orders to the bar and kitchen while respecting dietary needs and safety policies.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of server experience, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset. You must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and adapt to varying shifts.

Qualifications

• 1 year of server experience in restaurant/hospitality/entertainment venue.
• Superb customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem solver and team player.
• Flexible with varying schedules to reflect business needs.
• Knowledge of food & beverage preparation and service.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 lbs. with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to guests, assist in patron food and beverage selection, present menu and answer questions.
• Transmit orders to bar and kitchen, identifying any special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Serve orders, maintain table settings, replenish beverages, and respond promptly to guest requests.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Process guest bills efficiently and correctly.
