Job summary

Cosm is seeking a Security Guard to help create a safe, welcoming environment for fans (guests) and team members. This role blends proactive safety with a connected, optimistic, service‑oriented approach, ensuring guests feel secure while enjoying a seamless experience.

You will enforce Cosm policies on photography and recordings, monitor entrances, and assist in emergencies with a calm demeanor. A strong emphasis on teamwork and professional conduct is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Must possess a valid security license/registration as required by applicable state and local laws (e.g., Guard Card where required).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any required alcohol service certification in accordance with state and local regulations within a specified timeframe.
• Preferred Security/Law Enforcement experience.
• Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment, and enforcement procedures.
• Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy.
• A strong sense of teamwork and the ability to execute programs.
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50+ pounds, and occasional sitting

Responsibilities

• Bring the Pillars of Service to life through team and fan interactions.
• Ensure safety and security of fans, team members, and venue assets with a service-oriented presence.
• Check IDs of under-30s for alcohol service in a professional manner.
• Lead evacuation procedures during emergencies with a calm, optimistic demeanor.
• Monitor entrances/exits to prevent theft while maintaining a welcoming experience.
• Write daily activity/irregularity reports with attention to detail.
• Patrol premises to deter intrusion and safeguard doors, windows, and gates.
• Enforce policy on photos/videos during shows in a professional manner.
• Operate screening devices to prevent prohibited articles entering restricted areas.
• Warn violators and remove them with a service-oriented approach.
• Adhere to policies and use training materials and handbook in all duties.
