Job summary

The South Carolina Aquarium in Charleston, SC, is seeking a part-time Guest Service Center Associate. You will serve as the primary contact for guests, callers, and emails, handling reservations and sales with a high level of hospitality.

Typical schedule is Monday, Friday, Sunday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, with weekend and holiday coverage as required. This role offers exposure to ticketing, sales, and member programs within a nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Reservations, ticketing, telemarketing, outbound sales, and/or front desk experience preferred.
• Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound phone calls and general email inquiries for guests and members.
• Enter transactions and reservation information into the ticketing system.
• Process payments and contracts through the ticketing system.
• Maintain balanced daily closeouts and follow Cash Handling Policy.
• Assist with group reservations and membership sales programs.
