Job summary

City of Wentzville seeks an experienced Guest Services & Operations Manager to oversee front-desk staffing, guest experiences, marketing strategies, and administrative operations across recreation facilities. This full-time supervisor role drives pass sales, revenue and customer service excellence with leadership of a high-performing team.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and five years of recreation management experience, plus supervisory skills and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Sports Management, Public or Business Administration or related field required.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in recreation management.
• Prior supervisory experience required. CPR/First Aid certification required.
• CPRP certification preferred. Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day front desk operations across multiple sites and ensure safety procedures.
• Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and evaluate guest services staff.
• Address guest inquiries and complaints and monitor feedback to improve service.
• Assist in developing and managing the annual operating budget and pass sales programs.
• Collaborate on marketing campaigns and communications to boost utilization.
