Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels in the United States is seeking an Experience and Membership Coordinator within the Rooms Division to support guest services, administrative duties, and program management.

You will oversee club membership, assist front desk operations during peak times, respond to guest requests, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, and other departments to ensure outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Some college and two years Front Office/Guest Service experience at a hotel of similar size and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.
• Flexibility on schedule – morning, afternoon, night, weekend, weekday, and holiday shifts are all part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Rooms Division Manager with administrative duties and special project requirements.
• Oversee the Club Membership; recruiting new members and retaining existing ones.
• Respond quickly to guest requests and complaints and implement service recovery guidelines.
• Block rooms for VIP guests and verify Elite status for arriving guests.
• Analyze customer feedback and suggest ways to improve ratings.
• Coordinate with guests and management to ensure satisfaction and timely follow-ups.
• Support Front Desk, concierge, and bell staff during high traffic times.
• Attend trainings, lineups and meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
