Job summary

The Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for the Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center. You will lead by example, coach, and develop associates, ensuring clean, welcoming spaces and adherence to Hyatt standards.

This full-time, first-shift role may include some 2nd shift hours and weekends. Starting pay is $18.00/hour with growth opportunities; benefits start after 30 days for eligible employees, plus discounts and perks.

Qualifications

Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality experience is required.
Strong attention to detail and leadership skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and support Room Attendants, Housepersons, and Public Area Attendants.
Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure Hyatt brand standards are met.
Coordinate daily assignments and staffing priorities.
Train, mentor, and develop housekeeping associates.
Assist with performance coaching and documentation.
Respond promptly to guest requests and service recovery opportunities.
Oversee Lost & Found procedures.
Monitor safety, security, and key control procedures.
Assist with inventory, supplies, and department administration.
Step in to support the team during peak occupancy.
Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
