H&S Energy in Crescent City, CA is seeking a Gas Station Cashier/Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role supports daily store operations, handles cashiering, maintains store presentation, ensures food and beverage quality, and helps foster a safe, welcoming environment for all customers.

You will greet customers, process checkout transactions, stock and merchandize, prepare food/beverage items, and follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in retail, food service, or customer-facing roles preferred.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash-handling procedures.
• CPR and First Aid training a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers with enthusiasm and professionalism and provide friendly, efficient service at checkout.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays; maintain pricing accuracy and signage.
• Prepare and maintain self-serve and ready-to-eat food/beverage stations following safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the facility, restrooms, fueling area, and common areas.
• Adhere to station duties, assist with car wash operations if applicable, and perform other duties as assigned.
