The Diocese of St. Augustine is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for the Marywood Retreat and Conference Center. This full-time role (40 hours per week) focuses on cleaning guest rooms, sanitizing bathrooms, and maintaining public areas to ensure a welcoming environment for retreat guests.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of housekeeping experience. Ability to work with clergy and guests, strong time management, and the willingness to pass background checks

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years in general housekeeping preferred.
• Ability to work respectfully with clergy and guests.
• Must pass background check and Protecting God’s Children seminar prior to employment.

Responsabilités

• Clean and prepare guest rooms to standard, including beds, linens, dusting, and amenity restocking.
• Thorough bathroom sanitization and replenishment of supplies.
• Maintain clean floors in guest areas and public spaces.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures to keep a pristine appearance.
• Maintain cleanliness of all public areas and staff areas.
• Wash, store, and manage linens and cloths per Marywood standards.
• Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas.
• Maintain Camp I Am cabins and bathrooms cleanliness.
• Identify and report maintenance issues to the Supervisor.
• Provide courteous guest service and forward left items to the Supervisor.
• Follow health, safety, and chemical handling protocols.
