Job summary

The Inn at Lost River is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to create welcoming, spotless guest spaces in a small hospitality team. You will clean rooms, stock amenities, and ensure every area meets our high standards, contributing to memorable guest experiences.

Candidates should be able to work independently with attention to detail, lift up to 35 pounds, and be available for weekend shifts. This on-site role emphasizes quality, consistency, and a caring approach to each guest room.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping, hotel, hospitality, or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and remain active throughout the shift.
• Weekend availability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to Inn standards.
• Make beds with crisp, wrinkle-free linens and carefully arranged pillows.
• Replace amenities, refreshments, and guest supplies.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize all assigned areas.
• Inspect every room before leaving to ensure it is guest-ready.
• Notice and correct details that may otherwise go overlooked, including misplaced furniture, outdated guest information, fingerprints, smudges, or other signs of wear.
• Report maintenance concerns, damaged furnishings, or inventory shortages promptly.
• Maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment in excellent condition.
• Assist with laundry as needed.
• Work independently while maintaining consistent quality and efficiency.
• Help preserve the welcoming atmosphere and high standards that define the Inn at Lost River.
