• Must be able to handle a crisis calmly, including upset guests, fire, tornado, armed robbery and assault, bomb threats and accidents.

Responsibilities

• Cleans guestrooms, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
• Sort, count, fold, mark, and/or carry linens.
• Cleans hotel according to franchise standards and within required timeframes (beds, dusting, walls, floors, windows, trash, carpets, bathrooms).
• Replenishes supplies (bathroom amenities, coffee/tea service items, cups/lids, writing supplies).
• Moves furniture, hangs drapes, and rolls carpets to meet brand requirements.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area; transports dirty linens to laundry area or chute.
• Replaces light bulbs, batteries, and completes maintenance tickets as needed.
• Stocks, organizes, and maintains housekeeping carts and equipment.
• Greet guests in a warm, friendly manner with a smile.
• Ensures key control and guest privacy and security while in guestrooms.
• Use materials, chemicals and tools safely to avoid injury or waste.
• Communicate with maintenance department regarding room needs.
• All other duties as assigned.
