Job summary

United Way of Greenville County is seeking a friendly host to support dining room operations. You will greet guests upon arrival, escort them to their tables, provide menus, and help balance seating flow across service stations to keep lines moving and guests satisfied.

No prior foodservice experience is required, but strong communication and teamwork are essential. You will handle guest checks and cash transactions as needed and contribute to a welcoming, community-focused dining environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Some high school; must understand the primary languages of the work location.
• Experience: No previous foodservice required; good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and escort to tables.
• Inform guests of assigned server’s name.
• Manage seating requests and balance seating across service stations.
• Handle guest check payments and cash transactions as required.
