Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Host for the B-Lux Burgers & Shake Restaurant. Greet guests warmly, manage seating efficiently, and coordinate with servers to ensure a smooth dining experience.

The ideal candidate has general food & beverage knowledge and at least one year of high-volume dining experience. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required. Salary is $14 per hour.

Qualifications

• General food and beverage knowledge is required.
• Experience in high-volume upscale dining is preferred.
• OpenTable experience is preferred.
• Ability to operate a point-of-sale system.
• Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, escort to dining area, rotate tables as needed.
• Call out party name and number when tables are ready.
• Present menus and announce server’s name upon seating; inspect table presentation.
• Assist fellow associates as needed to ensure smooth service.
• Answer the phone with proper Kalahari verbiage.
