Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group in Torrance, CA is hiring a Servers Assistant for an hourly, non-exempt role. Start pay is $16.90 per hour plus tips. You will greet guests, seat them, and support servers to deliver a smooth, welcoming dining experience.

Responsibilities

Makes memorable first and last impressions with a smile.
Greets incoming and departing Guests in a welcoming manner. Seats guests in the dining and bar areas, while ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff.
Coordinates wait, and seats Guests with a sense of urgency.
Always smiles and has genuine conversations with Guests.
Demonstrates teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise.
Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, job safety and sanitation standards.
Busses tables, delivers food and supports the dining room, while ensuring every opportunity to WOW our guests is fulfilled.
Will have a general knowledge of the food and drink menu and be able to recommend and upsell products.
Answers the phone in a prompt and professional manner and directs calls.
Leads the lobby experience for each Guest, following Outback hospitality standards.
As a Servers Assistant, you will be assisting guests and supporting Servers by serving food and beverages, clearing and resetting tables, and ensuring a clean, welcoming dining environment.
