Job summary

The Slice Pizza is hiring a friendly Cashier/Host to be the first and last point of contact for guests. This hybrid role blends hospitality, order-taking, and front-of-house flow to ensure a smooth, enjoyable visit.

You will greet guests, take orders at the register, process payments, and help manage takeout and third-party pickups while maintaining a clean host area and clear communication with the team.

Qualifications

• Customer service or cashier experience preferred.
• Strong communication and hospitality skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable handling cash and POS systems.
• Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they enter and guide them through ordering or seating.
• Take orders accurately at the register and enter them into the POS system.
• Handle cash, card, and online transactions with accuracy and professionalism.
• Manage takeout and third-party pickup orders efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized front counter, lobby, and host stand.
• Communicate wait times, menu details, and specials clearly to guests.
• Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to keep service running smoothly.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned.
