Job summary

The World Equestrian Center is seeking a part-time Host for Yellow Pony in Ocala, FL. You will greet guests, seat them promptly, and coordinate with servers to ensure a smooth dining experience in a guest-focused environment.

Qualifications include clear communication and exceptional grooming. This on-site role requires a professional appearance and the ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced hospitality setting. A background check is required prior to employment. Drug Free Workplace/EOE.

Qualifications

• Must communicate clearly in the predominant language of our guests.
• Must have exceptional grooming habits.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a guest focus while performing duties.
• Assumes responsibility for quality guests’ experience.
• Welcome and greet guests.
• Seating guests in a timely and welcoming manner
• Inform the server about new guests in their section.
• Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant and hotel functions and services
• Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignment.
• Complete opening and closing side work.
• Maintain clean and stocked host desk.
• Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and beverage service.
• Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
• Assist servers in clearing and setting tables as needed.
