Job summary

Legends Global, at One World Observatory in New York City, seeks a Restaurant Host/Hostess to greet guests and manage seating with warmth and professionalism. You will guide guests through dining options and use our reservation system to oversee flow and wait times.

The ideal candidate is at least 18, with 1+ year in food and beverage, ServSafe or Food Handler certification, and excellent English communication. This on-site role offers $20 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year experience in food and beverage.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required.

Responsibilities

• Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival
• Provide guidance to guests at One World Observatory inclusive of dining options and general New York City information
• Utilize electronic table management system to monitor dining room and guest flow, maximize table usage, and minimize customer wait times
• Explain the restaurant concept to guests
• Record guest names and number of people in party when immediate seating is unavailable
• Seat guests based on guest preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations
