Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel is seeking a Restaurant Host to create a warm, welcoming first impression for guests dining with us. You will greet guests, manage seating, answer phones, and support front‑of‑house operations to ensure a seamless dining experience.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, customer service experience, and the ability to obtain relevant Maryland licensing. This is a union-sponsored position with comprehensive benefits and union dues as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Customer service experience dealing directly with customers.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

Responsibilities

• Greeting/welcoming and seating guests.
• Assign wait staff to service guests in their sections.
• Answering phone, greeting customers, and keeping track of seat availability in restaurants.
• Assisting wait/bar staff.
• Responsible for assisting with bussing and resetting tables.
• Responsible for cleaning host area and entrance to the restaurant.
