Job summary

Collared Martin Hospitality in Nantucket, MA seeks a Front Desk Agent (House Ambassador) to warmly welcome guests, assist with check-in and check-out, and host stays as if guests were in their own homes.

You will provide local recommendations, handle reservations and room changes, coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance/Engineering and F&B, and respond promptly to inquiries with a friendly, professional touch. A team-oriented, flexible schedule and good English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest service is preferred
• Ability to work in a team and multitask in a hospitality setting
• Clear spoken and written English communication

Responsibilities

• Assist with guest check-in/check-out, issue room keys, and engage positively with guests
• Provide information, recommendations, and booking services for inquiries (directions, hours, transportation, tickets, reservations)
• Facilitate reservations and room changes
• Coordinate communications between front desk and Housekeeping, Maintenance/Engineering, and F&B
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns promptly and warmly
• Inspect rooms for readiness and prepare VIP amenities
• Perform other duties with hospitality and timeliness
